The Jewish Community of Dnipro and our website wish a very happy Jubilee from the bottom of our hearts to Alexander Romanovich Shefer, the chief shamash of the central “Golden Rose” Synagogue. On Yom Kippur, the 10th of Tishrei, Alexander Romanovich will turn 70 years old!
For many years now, Alexander Romanovich has daily ensured that the life of the “Golden Rose” is organized and harmonious. His responsibility, attentiveness, and kind attitude toward people help preserve the synagogue’s special atmosphere—here one always feels order, hospitality, and warmth. Behind every service, every event, and the many small details so familiar to congregants lies his daily labor and devotion to his work.
