The Jewish Community of Dnipro carried out a large-scale charitable campaign. As part of this initiative, families with children from vulnerable categories received food packages for the Hanukkah holiday from the charity organization JRNU (Jewish Relief Network Ukraine).
The Hanukkah gifts included the necessary items for celebration – a Hanukkiah and sets of candles, as well as a wide assortment of kosher products: chicken, cereals, canned vegetables, oil, dairy products, tea, coffee, and various sweets. These packages are designed to ensure a full and joyful preparation for the holiday.
Thanks to such support, hundreds of Jewish families with children – including families of internally displaced persons, large families, parents of students of Jewish educational institutions, religious families, and participants of various community programs – will be able to celebrate Hanukkah with dignity and without unnecessary worries.
The distribution of aid took place on the eve of Hanukkah in an organized and precise manner, characteristic of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, which has years of experience in conducting large-scale charitable initiatives. Many recipients sent heartfelt words of gratitude both to the community itself and to the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine for such timely and important support.
