Major Dairy Product Assistance from JRNU for the Shavuot Holiday

On the eve of the Shavuot holiday, the Dnipro Jewish Community received significant support from the charitable organization JRNU (Jewish Relief Network Ukraine), which provided a large quantity of kosher dairy products both for the support of the community’s religious families and for conducting holiday events.

On the eve of the holiday, one hundred Jewish religious families received food packages containing a variety of kosher dairy products, which traditionally hold a special place in the festive Shavuot meals. The packages included hard cheese, cottage cheese, milk, flavored yogurts, butter, condensed milk, sour cream, kefir, ryazhanka, and other products necessary for preparing the holiday table. This assistance became important support for large religious families in their preparations for the holiday.

Additionally, a large quantity of dairy products was transferred for the conduct of holiday events of the Dnipro Jewish Community. A special treat for community members during the days of Shavuot will be ice cream in cups, beloved by both children and adults, which participants in the holiday events will be able to receive.

The Dnipro Jewish Community expresses sincere gratitude to the charitable organization JRNU for its ongoing support of the community and assistance in preparing for important Jewish holidays. Special thanks are extended to the company “UkKosher” for the timely delivery of fresh products, thanks to which everything needed arrived for the holiday on time.

“We are grateful both for the assistance itself and for the attention and care that JRNU shows towards the life of Jewish communities. It was very important to us that the leaders of Jewish Relief Network Ukraine, Rabbis Shlomo Neeman and Simcha Levengartz, were personally present at the distribution,” said Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki. “We are very happy that our friends and partners were able to hear words of gratitude from those receiving help and support, and to see how this process is organized within our united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
