Passover gifts from JRNU

The Jewish community of Dnipro received a large amount of matzoh and kosher grape juice from the charitable organization JRNU (Jewish Relief Network Ukraine) for the Passover holiday.

“This year we were allocated more than 2,500 boxes of machine-made square matzah and 2,500 bottles of grape juice,” says Rada Romantsova, head of the Jewish community’s humanitarian department, “and these gifts were mostly received by community members and parishioners of Dnipro synagogues, and some will be used for the Seder that will take place in the community. These gifts from JRNU will help us to celebrate the holiday, both in the family circle and at large Seder parties, and will make our Pesach even more kosher ve samedah.”

In addition to gifts to members of the Jewish community, matzah and juice for Pesach were included in large food packages that JRNU is providing to six hundred families with children, low-income families, IDPs and other vulnerable groups.
