Purim Gifts for Needy Jewish Families from Moshe Elikson, the Gozda Family, and JBC – HOME “The Jewish House of Trade and Business in Ukraine”

On the eve of the joyous Purim holiday, a distribution of festive gifts to low-income and socially vulnerable Jewish families took place in the Dnipro Jewish Community, initiated by renowned businessman and philanthropist, long-time friend of the community Moshe Elikson, the company JBC – HOME “The Jewish House of Trade and Business in Ukraine,” and the Gozda family.

The holiday packages, accompanied by greetings of “Chag Purim Sameach,” were prepared with special attention and warmth. The vibrant Purim design, holiday symbols, and traditional wishes of joy and blessing were not merely design elements but an expression of sincere care for those most in need of support. During days when the Jewish people recall the miracle of salvation and the mitzvah to increase joy, such assistance takes on special meaning.

The recipients of the gifts were low-income and socially vulnerable Jewish families, for whom attention and support from the community are particularly important. In challenging times, such initiatives help foster an atmosphere of unity, care, and mutual responsibility – the very foundation of Jewish tradition.

The families who received the gifts asked to convey words of sincere gratitude to Moshe Elikson, the Gozda family, and the team at JBC – HOME, along with the traditional wish for success and blessing in all their good deeds.

“We are very grateful for this support before Purim,” shared one of the aid recipients, Malka Muzikina. “Such gifts help us greet the holiday with joy and a feeling that we are remembered. May the Almighty bless the donors with health, success, and the continuation of their important work for the benefit of Jewish life in Ukraine.”
