The Dnipro Jewish Community is pleased to present a video clip dedicated to the large-scale charity campaign, within the framework of which families with children from vulnerable categories received Hanukkah food packages from the charitable organization JRNU (Jewish Relief Network Ukraine).
This video report captures the atmosphere of care, light, and responsibility with which the community prepared for the holiday of Hanukkah. At the center of attention is the important support for families for whom assistance on the eve of the holiday holds special significance.
The Hanukkah packages from JRNU included all the necessary attributes for celebration – a chanukiah and candles, as well as a wide assortment of kosher products, including chicken, cereals, canned vegetables, vegetable oil, dairy products, tea, coffee, and holiday treats. These gifts allowed families not only to prepare for the lighting of the Hanukkah lights but also to feel confidence and peace on the eve of the holiday.
Thanks to this initiative, hundreds of Jewish families with children, including families of internally displaced persons, large families, parents of students from Jewish educational institutions, religious families, and participants in community programs, were able to meet Hanukkah with dignity, without unnecessary worries and anxieties.
The distribution of aid took place on the eve of the holiday in an organized and clear manner, once again confirming the many years of experience of the Dnipro Jewish Community in conducting large-scale charitable campaigns. Many participants expressed sincere gratitude both to the community itself and to the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine organization for timely and much-needed support.
The presented video clip allows us to relive these moments, see the genuine emotions, and feel how the light of the Hanukkah flames combines with real assistance and human warmth, which are especially important in these difficult times.
