In the youth project of the Dnipro Jewish Community “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro,” held with the support of STL, Lag BaOmer was celebrated with a vibrant party in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The event was organized by the youth Jewish leaders of the “DJCY-STL-STARS Dnipro” project — Lea and Natan Lazarev — to whom program director Chaya Maltseva expressed special thanks, highlighting their contribution to shaping the Jewish identity of Dnipro’s youth.
As expected on Lag BaOmer, the evening was filled with good food, fun, and excitement. Participants took part in contests and quizzes, played games, and competed with one another. And of course, there was a traditional bonfire — though modest in size, all the key customs of the holiday were honored, especially when it came to the delicious barbecue meal.
