The project of the Jewish Community of Dnipro “STL-STARS Dnipro”, realized with the support of STL, held an event dedicated to the ritual “Sheva Brachot”, which is held during the week for newlyweds and is a part of Jewish wedding celebrations.
The “Sheva Brachot” event in the STL-STARS Dnipro program was prepared and held by the Maltsev and Lazarev families for the recently married program teacher Yosef Nahshon and his wife Hai-Mushka. The event was attended by Stars students and female students, as well as relatives of the newlyweds – Nahshon, Segal and Maidanchik families.
“It was a very heartwarming, bright and touching event,” Haya Maltseva, the head of “STL-STARS Dnipro” told our website, “Yosef Nahshon, our favorite teacher and mashpia gave a terrific speech about the importance of creating a Jewish family, which I am sure made a great impression on our students and female students. Everything was very fun, you could say Adar-style, we sang a lot, danced, said Dvar Torah and most importantly said seven blessings for a young family and received many blessings from it.”
