Morning reading of the Suva Esther at the Golden Rose Synagogue

Today, the Suva Esther was read many times at the Golden Rose Synagogue, because in addition to the main morning reading after the Shaharis prayer, there were four additional readings throughout the day, so that everyone could fulfill the commandment and listen to the Suva reading, which, according to tradition, should be listened to twice – in the evening, at the onset of the holiday, and in the morning, on the day of Purim itself.

The main reading of the Megilat Esther was conducted by the head of the Kolel Torah project, Rabbi Moishe Leib Weber, and those present listened attentively, following the reading in different versions of the text – handwritten, printed and electronic.

After the reading, Purim refreshments were served, and members of the community actively fulfilled other commandments of the holiday – Mishloach Manot and generous donations to the needy, which are customary to make on the holiday of Purim.
