A distinguished delegation of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine visited the Jewish Community of Dnipro. The delegation included the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Martin Jaeger, the Political Affairs Officer Olga Serdechna, the Assistant to the Ambassador Vitaliy Kashtalyan, and accompanying persons.
The official representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany were warmly welcomed by the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region Shmuel Kaminetsky. During the meeting, the rabbi informed the Ambassador about the life of the Jewish community and discussed numerous topical issues of mutual interest.
After the official part of the meeting, the delegation of the German Embassy was invited to the Museum “Memory of the Jewish People and the Holocaust in Ukraine”, a tour of which was conducted by the Director of the Museum, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Doctor Iryna Radchenko.
