An Interactive Lesson at the Machon on Using AI to Spread the Light of Hanukkah

At the Chaya-Mushka Machon, one of the leading educational institutions for girls in the Dnipro Jewish Community, a special interactive lesson was held for senior students during Hanukkah on using artificial intelligence to spread the message of the miracle of Hanukkah through high technology.

This interactive lesson, held via videoconference on one of the days of Hanukkah, was led by Machon student Chana Yudovich. She explained how artificial intelligence can be used to create comics and even video clips about the history and traditions of the holiday, and how to effectively utilize the capabilities of artificial intelligence to spread the values of Yiddishkeit and Hasidism.

Hana Yudovich focused on the fundamentals of security, which is especially important for Jewish girls when using computer technology and various software products related to generative AI—large language models, multimodal models, and other neural network services.

“The girls really enjoyed the bright, colorful, yet simple and clear explanation of how AI can help create interactive games, high-quality presentations, and even short videos on various Jewish topics,” says Amora Edna Yudovich. “Thanks to the support of the united and close-knit Jewish Community of Dnipro, led by Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminetsky, our machona widely utilizes innovative teaching methods related to computer technology, which helps achieve a high-quality education that meets modern global standards.”
