During the days of Chol HaMoed Pesach, a rich and thoughtfully planned recreational program took place for the students of the “Beit LeBanot” boarding school for girls of the Dnipro Jewish Community. The program was organized with consideration for both an active entertainment component and the festive atmosphere of the holiday.
The program included various outings, allowing the girls to spend this time in a vibrant and meaningful way. On the first day, the students went to an amusement park, where they spent time in a joyful and dynamic atmosphere, riding various carousels and enjoying themselves sincerely. Afterwards, they visited a ropes course, where they enthusiastically navigated the trails and overcame obstacles among the trees.
On the second day, the program continued with a trip to the botanical garden, where a cozy kosher picnic was organized outdoors, along with a special activity during which each girl could choose and purchase a houseplant for herself. This was not only a pleasant experience but also a symbolic element of the day. Following this, the students visited the Hummus Bar.
The third day was dedicated to water recreation – the girls visited a swimming pool and then went to the “Fly Kids” entertainment center, where they were able to spend time actively and conclude the program with vivid impressions.
This format allowed the students of the “Beit LeBanot” boarding school for girls not only to rest during the days of Chol HaMoed Pesach but also to gain many positive emotions that will remain in their memories for a long time.
“It was important to us that these days be a time of joy, rest, and strengthening of the girls’ inner well-being,” noted Rina Averbukh, madricha of the boarding school. “We sought to create an atmosphere where each student feels care, attention, and the opportunity to blossom. For the opportunity to realize this, we express deep gratitude to the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community and its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki.”
