Pseudo-Documentary Film “In the Footsteps of Reb Itche” – Dnipro Jewish Community Presents the Second Film of the “Paths of the Chassidim” Festival

The Dnipro Jewish Community continues its publication of the films created by the students of the Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Yeshiva Ktana for the “Paths of the Chassidim” film festival, which served as a vibrant conclusion to the school year. We have already provided a detailed account of the film festival itself, which took place at the world’s largest Jewish center, “Menorah.” Now, we invite viewers to explore its main content – the creative works dedicated to outstanding Chassidim, their lives, spiritual feats, and the life lessons that the students were able to convey through the language of modern cinema.

Each film is an independent story, created in its own genre, ranging from fantasy and comedy to detective stories, musicals, and historical epics. While working on these films, the students not only studied the biographies of remarkable Chassidim but also sought to understand their legacy, demonstrating how the ideas of Torah and Chassidus continue to inspire new generations.

Today, we present the work of the second-grade class, created in the pseudo-documentary genre – the film “In the Footsteps of Reb Itche.” It is dedicated to Reb Itche der Masmid, who became renowned for his incredible consistency in the study of Torah and Chassidus. His life reminds us that true achievements are not born in a single day but through daily effort and perseverance.
