Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky Recommends Jewish Computer Games for Children

Two children’s computer games have received a recommendation from Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky, a renowned educator at the Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Yeshiva Ktana, the leading educational institution for boys of the Dnipro Jewish Community. He advised paying attention to two Jewish educational computer games that can serve as an interesting and useful supplement to children’s learning.

Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky noted that the two computer games in question – “Clown Izya and the 7 Plants” and “Lubavitch” – can be used as an element of additional educational leisure for children, helping them spend time with interest while simultaneously engaging with Jewish content.

Such tools can be utilized both within the framework of lessons and at home, in the family circle, becoming part of a natural and captivating learning process in which the child not only receives information but becomes involved in it through action and play.

“In the modern educational process, interactive formats play an increasingly important role. They allow not only for the transmission of knowledge but also for engaging the child in active perception of the material, awakening interest and forming a lasting connection with the topics being studied,” noted Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky. “This is especially important in the field of Jewish education, where the combination of tradition and contemporary forms of presentation opens up additional opportunities for deep and conscious comprehension. Such projects do not replace traditional learning, but can serve as a good supplement that helps capture the child’s interest and make the process more accessible and understandable.”
