The “Shura Rishona” (“Vanguard”) program for senior students of the “Chaya Mushka” girls’ school held a special session dedicated to preparing for Gimmel Tammuz. The event was led by teachers Chana Stambler and Esther Kaminezki.
The core of the program was the study of a sicha of the Rebbe. “We learn from the Frierdiker Rebbe that a Jew’s connection to Torah and mitzvot should be engraved in their soul,” shared Morah Chana Stambler. “This bond must be unbreakable. Gimmel Tammuz is called the Rebbe’s Day for a reason—on this day, we feel an especially deep connection with the Leader of our generation and realize how important the Rebbe is to every Jew at every moment of life.”
A highlight of the program was a prize lottery with exciting rewards every girl dreams of. The main prizes went to: Chaya Gaysinska (Grade 8), who won a leather-bound machzor; Inda Feldman (Grade 7), who received a Swarovski accessory; and Luba Kaminezki (Grade 7), who received a gift card to the Pandora store.
The evening concluded with the beloved “Shop” activity, where girls exchanged points they had earned throughout the year for prizes of their choice.
“We are deeply grateful to the Jewish Community of Dnipro for supporting this project, which enabled us to create such a meaningful and emotional event and to properly prepare for the Rebbe’s Day, which begins after Shabbat,” emphasized Morah Chana Stambler.
