Start of the New “Tzivos Hashem” Season at the “Chaya-Mushka” Machon

The opening of the new season for “Tzivos Hashem” was solemnly held at the “Chaya-Mushka” Machon, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community for girls. “Tzivos Hashem” is a worldwide children’s organization established on the instruction of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in the autumn of 1980, with branches and chapters operating in many countries around the world.

The season opening for the “Tzivos Hashem” programs for students in grades 1-4 took place in the Machon’s gymnasium. All the pupils held a solemn parade and performed their organization’s anthem, followed by an induction ceremony for the first-grade students: Dvora Futerfas, Dina Bialska, Chaya Mushka Milman, and Doba Gurevich. Afterwards, the 12 Pesukim were recited, and everyone watched a video of the Rebbe with great attention.

During the ceremony, the theme of this season – “Geulah” – was announced, and it was explained how girls could earn points to advance within the “Tzivos Hashem” hierarchy. Each girl received a booklet with materials and tasks; by completing them, she can earn points, receive rewards, and attain higher ranks within the organization’s structure. To conclude the meeting, each pupil received a very useful thermos as a gift, which they could decorate with a “Tzivos Hashem” emblem sticker.

“The opening of the ‘Tzivos Hashem’ season at our Machon was held with great elevation and inspiration,” said Morah Edna Yudovych. “Participation in the work of this organization is extremely motivating for our girls, and we wholeheartedly thank the Dnipro Jewish Community and its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki, for supporting our work in both traditional and informal education.”
