The Jewish Children’s Educational Center “Beit Tzindlicht” held a series of events dedicated to the 124th anniversary of the birth of the righteous Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Schneerson, wife of the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, and daughter of the Sixth Chabad Rebbe, Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson.
“In each group, special lessons were held where teachers told the children about what an amazing woman Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka was, how much kindness she brought into the world, and why she is considered a role model for every Jewish woman,” says Risha Gurevich, director of “Beit Tzindlicht.” “The children prepared gifts for the Rebbetzin’s birthday, decorated her portrait, played fun and educational games, and concluded the celebration with a special children’s farbrengen.”
During these activities, special attention was given to the fulfillment of certain mitzvot associated with celebrating significant historical dates and events in the lives of Jewish leaders—for example, the importance of giving tzedakah on such a day.
The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
