A large children’s farbrengen was held at the “Beit Tsindlicht” Educational Center, dedicated to the 191st birthday of the Fourth Lubavitcher Rebbe — Rabbi Shmuel, also known as the Rebbe Maharash.
Together with their teachers, the children learned many fascinating stories about the childhood and leadership of the Rebbe Maharash, as well as his significant contribution to Jewish life during the challenging times of reform and counter-reform in the mid-19th century Russian Empire.
“One of the most vivid and touching moments was listening to the niggun ‘Lechat’chila Ariber’, associated with the Rebbe Maharash. It teaches us to approach all challenges from above — with confidence and courage,” said Malka Averbukh, a teacher at Beit Tsindlicht. “The children really enjoyed it and even tried to sing along.”
The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
