At the Jewish Children’s Educational Center “Beit Tsindlicht” (Communal Preschool Education Institution (Nursery-Kindergarten) No. 115 of the Dnipro City Council), this week was dedicated to the topic “Transport”.
“Every day we studied something related to transportation, traffic rules, street safety and other such topics,” says Malka Averbukh, a kindergarten teacher, “we drew, made applications, played a lot, for example, at traffic lights, even built a toy town and simulated traffic and discussed how to make it as convenient as possible for pedestrians.”
The culmination of this thematic week was a big game in the park area of ”Beit Zindlicht” – children brought their own vehicles: skateboards, scooters, bicycles, children’s pedal and electric cars and tried to drive according to the rules, stop at traffic lights, demonstrate courtesy and respect for every road user, and quickly and carefully follow all orders of police officers, as every conscientious citizen should do. All events were held with the support of the Jewish community of Dnipro.
