Large-Scale Infrastructure Renovation at the “Beit Zindlicht” Children’s Educational Center

In August, a large-scale infrastructure renovation took place at the “Beit Zindlicht” Children’s Educational Center, the main preschool institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community. Today, the work has been successfully completed, and the kindergarten is welcoming the new school year fully renovated, beautiful, and even more comfortable for children and teachers.

This year, the main focus was on the water drainage system and stormwater sewerage across the entire complex. All hydraulic elements were completely replaced with new and reliable ones that meet the highest modern standards. Now, even the heaviest rainfalls will not disrupt the children or teachers, and outdoor walks will take place joyfully and safely.

Additionally, significant efforts were directed toward improving the fire safety system and gas supply to the boiler room. All work was carried out in strict compliance with norms and regulations, at a high professional level.

“All infrastructure-related work was completed with high quality and within the set deadlines,” said Andrii Proshchenko, the renovation supervisor of “Beit Zindlicht.” “Besides the infrastructure work, we replaced doors throughout the building, performed cosmetic repairs in several groups, updated the playgrounds and play structures, and completed other necessary tasks. Despite the scale and complexity, the kindergarten was closed for only a few weeks.”

The renovation covered a wide range of utilities, but thanks to a systematic and well-thought-out approach, it was completed in an exceptionally short time. The center’s management notes that the results are inspiring and provide new energy for future work.

“I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Dnipro Jewish Community and its Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki for their care, attention, and responsibility,” emphasized Risha Gurevich, director of “Beit Zindlicht.” “Thanks to this renovation, our work will become even more comfortable, and we will be able to educate our little ones with even greater love and care. Over more than twenty years of operation, the kindergarten has become a true home for hundreds of Jewish families, and now, after the renewal, it is shining with new life.”
