In the Jewish kindergarten “Beit Zindlicht” (Municipal Institution of Preschool Education (Nursery School) No. 115 of the Dnipro City Council), great attention is paid to the physical development of each child as an important component of the comprehensive and harmonious formation of the individual.
Physical education classes are held as an interesting game and fun entertainment that gives great pleasure to children and at the same time promotes coordination of movement, development of fine motor skills and even teaches teamwork. Classes are based on modern methods, taking into account the age and health of each child.
“We pay a lot of attention to the elements of the game and the atmosphere of sports competitions,” says Natalia Proshchenko, the kindergarten’s manager, “We try to maximize interaction, support and non-verbal communication, and we use many attributes – hoops, balls and various gymnastic equipment. In addition to the benefits for the body, physical education brings children a lot of joy and pleasure.”
