A vibrant Purim celebration took place at the Jewish Children’s Educational Center “Beit Tzindlicht,” featuring a carnival, gifts, surprises, and delicious treats.
The main mitzvah of the holiday—reading the Megillat Esther—was fulfilled for the students and teachers of “Beit Tzindlicht” by the young shaliach of the Lubavitcher Rebbe: shaliach at the yeshiva Levi Hecht and yeshiva student Menachem Mendel Neuman.
“It was a very bright, touching, and extraordinary event, as Purim in kindergarten always is,” says the director of “Beit Tzindlicht,” Risha Gurevich. “There were lots of dances, games, and fun competitions. Children’s, with the help of their teachers, prepared beautiful Mishloach Manot and gave them to their friends. Of course, the highlight of the day was the reading of the Megillat Esther, but we spent the entire day in an atmosphere of joy and celebration, which the children’s carried home with them, spreading light wherever they went.”
