On the eve of the great holiday of Passover, the Beit Zindlicht Children’s Education Center hosted an exciting game called “Seder Not Really” to prepare children for participation in the real Seder on the first two nights of the holiday.
The children were assembling a puzzle with a kehillah, which helped them to memorize and realize what and where should be during the Passover meal. They also learned a Hebrew song that uses mnemonic techniques to help children learn and memorize the sequence of actions during the Seder. Much attention was paid to the Haggadah and the significant role of children during the Passover celebration.
The Children’s Seder, which is, of course, only a game, prepared children very well to participate in real Seder in their family or community, which, as you know, is the main function of the game.
The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
