The Menorah Community, a youth project of the Jewish community of Dnipro implemented by the Zislin family, held a women’s lesson on the weekly Vayikra chapter.
“It was a very interesting meeting held by Daniela Listengurt,” says Esti Zislina, co-organizer of the project, “the weekly chapter is dedicated to sacrifice and it begins the third book of Humash, Leviticus, and it is very important for us to understand why it is relevant to us today and how it is reflected in our daily lives. Of course, we devoted a lot of time and attention to preparing for the Passover holiday, which is a key moment not only in Jewish history but also in the history of all mankind.”
The event culminated in a collective halacha weaving, and Daniela Listengurt also performed the halacha separation commandment for all the girls present. This was very interesting in the light of the discussion of the week’s Vayikra chapter.
