The youth project “Menorah Community” of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, implemented by the Zislina family, held a women’s lesson based on the weekly Torah section “Vayakgel”.
“The lesson was conducted by Osnat Lieberman and she emphasized that the construction of the Mishkan was entrusted to people who had not only knowledge, but also special sensitivity, that is, were “wise at heart”, because true wisdom is not just intelligence, but the ability to apply knowledge with faith and kindness, – said the co-leader of the project Esti Zislina, – every Jew is a builder at heart, because every person is a builder of their spiritual life. Just as the Jews built the Mishkan with their own strength, we create our connection with the Creator through good deeds and prayer.”
Another important topic of this lesson was prayer, as the beginning of any business, to strengthen the awareness of the connection with the Creator. This is especially relevant in the days of preparation for Pesach, when we cleanse our homes of chametz and at the same time cleanse our souls, preparing for the Seder.
“Our lesson was very informative and interesting,” says Esti Zislina, “we learned a lot of new things, discussed important topics and had fun together.”
