A heartfelt and festive Jewish wedding ceremony — Chuppah ve-Kiddushin — was held for Alon Pinchas Manuilov and Leah Ginda Gurko at the Menorah Center, the largest Jewish center in the world, located in Dnipro.
After the signing of the ketubah (Jewish marriage contract) in full accordance with halacha, the wedding festivities began with a traditional Kabbalat Panim reception, held in the grand halls of the Pcholka House. There, the groom and bride, like a king and queen, warmly welcomed guests, friends, and relatives. Alon Pinchas delivered a maamar titled “Lecha Dodi”, revealing the spiritual essence of a Jewish wedding.
Afterward, the groom was escorted by the men to the bride, where he performed the badekenish ceremony — the veiling of the bride.
The Chuppah ve-Kiddushin ceremony took place under the open sky on the Grand Terrace of the Menorah Grand Palace, in the presence of family, friends, rabbis, and honored members of the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Odesa. The wedding hymn “Mi Adir” was beautifully performed by Shneur Zalman Vigler. A blessing letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe was read by Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki, with its Russian translation delivered by the groom’s brother, Yonatan Manuilov. The couple was then blessed by Shneur Zalman Erentroi HaCohen, a descendant of the priestly Kohanim.
The official Chuppah ve-Kiddushin ceremony was conducted by the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki. Reb Chaim Weitzman and Rabbi Adam Smilyansky served as witnesses to the authenticity of the wedding ring. The ketubah was read by Rabbi Moishe Leib Weber. This was followed by the traditional Sheva Brachot — the Seven Wedding Blessings.
The Jewish Community of Dnipro and our website join in all the congratulations and best wishes for Alon Pinchas and Leah Ginda to build a strong Jewish home, firmly grounded in the eternal values of Torah and mitzvot.
Mazl Tov!
