The Jewish Community of Dnipro is pleased to present a grand final video clip dedicated to the “Nitzotzot Kdusha” girls day camp, organized with the support of the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine charity organization and made possible through the facilitation of the esteemed member of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, Malka (Tetyana Igorivna) Gorodnytska. This film serves as a vivid account of unforgettable days filled with the study of Jewish tradition, creativity, friendship, the joy of discovery, and an atmosphere of authentic Yiddishkeit. The video clip allows viewers to relive the warmest and most inspiring moments of the camp, which brought together fifty Jewish girls around the idea of “Nitzotzot Kdusha”—the concept of “Sparks of Holiness” as revealed in the teachings of the leader of our generation, the Seventh Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson.
Each day of the camp was dedicated to a special theme related to holiness—the participants explored the structure, attributes, and sacred vessels of the Beis HaMikdash, discovering their spiritual meaning and significance for every Jew. Each new day combined serious study with creative workshops, games, outings, the performance of mitzvos, preparations for Shabbos, and numerous joyful events that helped the girls not only learn more about Jewish tradition but also experience it as part of their daily lives. The symbol of this spiritual journey was each participant’s personal bracelet, which day by day was enriched with a new bead—a new “spark of holiness” uncovered through good deeds, new knowledge, and the observance of mitzvos.
The final video clip brings together the most vivid episodes of the entire session—the first introductions and the joy of discovering the camp, lessons dedicated to the Beis HaMikdash, creative projects, group games, outings, Shabbos programs, the reflective days of the Ninth of Av, the performance of the mitzvah of challah separation, the happy smiles of the participants, and that special atmosphere of warmth, friendship, and spiritual growth that accompanied the camp from the first to the last day. This video not only preserves the memory of a wonderful summer session but also conveys its central message—every girl has the ability to uncover new sparks of holiness in the world and bring it closer to the light of Geulah.
The Jewish Community of Dnipro expresses its deep gratitude to the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine charity organization, which supports numerous projects of Jewish renaissance, and thanks to JRNU’s assistance, the community’s summer programs—including the “Nitzotzot Kdusha” girls camp—are made possible. Special words of thanks are extended to the esteemed Mrs. Malka Gorodnytska, whose attention, participation, and support played a significant role in ensuring that this year’s session was conducted at such a high level. The Jewish Community of Dnipro also extends its sincere gratitude to the camp director, Leah Lazareva, who for many years, with great responsibility, love, and complete dedication, has carried out the noble mission of organizing this important program of Jewish education.
“Over these days, our camp became one big family, and I want to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who invested their strength, talent, and soul into its success,” said Leah Lazareva, director of the “Nitzotzot Kdusha” camp. “Special words of gratitude go to our wonderful team: head counselor Ziva Smilanskaya, the counselors of all four groups—Chaya Romanovskaya, Chaya Feldman, Sara Susorova, Musya Kheyfer, Miriam Liberman, Adel Yudovich, Inda Feldman, Lyuba Kaminezki, Meital Liberman, Rachel Nachshon, Rivka Milman, and Chaya Susorova. I thank all our friends and partners who supported the camp, including Machon Beit Chana, and everyone who, through their participation, made these days truly happy for our girls. But above all, this camp was made possible thanks to our beloved Jewish Community of Dnipro and the enormous contribution made to its success by Chief Rabbi of Dnipro Shmuel Kaminezki, and our ideological inspiration and mentor, Rebbetzin Chana Kaminezki. We felt their care and attention every day, and we are very grateful to Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki, who was always ready to help and do everything for the success of our camp. It is thanks to their care and love for every Jewish child that we were able to give the girls an unforgettable summer, filled with an atmosphere of Yiddishkeit, friendship, spiritual growth, and true sparks of holiness.”
