An Unforgettable Gift for the Best Class at the Jewish Lyceum

A special celebration took place for the students of class 3-A, as at the end of the last academic year, results were summarized, and class 2-A of the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, was recognized as the best among all junior classes.

Now, after the summer holidays, the children, who have become third-graders, together with their homeroom teacher Daria Barkova, were invited to the Menorah Center, where the Jewish Community organized a festive meal in their honor. Afterward, all the students went to an entertainment center, where they participated in the children’s much-loved game of “Laser Tag.” It brought them immense joy, uniting them with team spirit, excitement, laughter, and real thrill.

“Our May winners – the ‘Class of the Year 2025 (Primary Classes)’ – received an unforgettable gift from the Dnipro Jewish Community: a festive meal at the Menorah Center and exciting laser tag,” said Svitlana Romenska, the lyceum’s deputy director. “We sincerely thank the Dnipro Jewish Community and its Chief Rabbi, Shmuel Kaminezki, for such a wonderful initiative, which gave the children a sea of positive emotions and bright memories. The children returned with shining eyes, full of inspiration and joy – and that is the best reward for all of us.”
