Bait leBanim prepares for Passover

The Bait LeBanim boarding school for boys has begun careful preparations for the upcoming Passover holiday, and the boys are preparing all the premises for the special conditions of the Passover week.

“The main requirement of Pesach is to get rid of chametz in any form,” says Rabbi David Vaskovsky, the head of the boarding school, ”so the boys are carefully cleaning all the rooms, leaving no corner unchecked. This must be done with a great awareness of the importance of the requirement to get rid of chametz on the eve of the holiday, it is not just a matter of hygiene or general cleaning in early spring, so each of our students was prepared and motivated, each is aware of his responsibility and the importance of his mission.”

After the living quarters, all the classrooms and technical rooms will be prepared for Passover, and special attention will be paid to koshering the dining room, kitchen and all kitchen utensils, and those that are not kosher will be locked for the duration of the holiday.

The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
