Bris Milah in the Askhadullin Family. Mazl Tov!

A festive Bris Milah ceremony for the son of Victoria and Rinat Askhadullin took place in the side chapel of the “Golden Rose” Central Synagogue in Dnipro.

The honored role of kvatterim – the couple who brings the baby into the room – was given to the David Yisroel Dov Manuilov and his wife Hagit, directors of the “Tikkun Olam” project, who accompanied this young family with special care and attention on their path of return to Jewish traditions and made a significant contribution to their spiritual development.

Following this, the Chairman of the Council of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine, Rabbi Mayer Tzvi Stambler, was invited to read a letter of blessing from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Menachem Mendel Schneerson.

The most important and pivotal role of the seated sandak (the one who holds the baby during the circumcision) was given to the esteemed community member Reb Nathan Zolotarevsky.

The circumcision ceremony was performed by Moel Harshi Gutman, who came from Vienna for the occasion. The Jewish community of Dnipro expresses its deep gratitude to him for carrying out this important commandment, and also sincerely thanks Reb Yakov Gaisynovych for his assistance in organizing the high-level ceremony.

The role of the standing sandak – the person who holds the child during the naming ceremony (“amidah le’brachos”) – was given to Reb David Yisroel Dov Manuilov.

The esteemed Rabbi Moshe Leib Weber was invited to recite the blessings and announce the baby’s name, proclaiming that the boy is named Asher.

A special moment occurred when the baby’s mother took upon herself the name Esther, and the grandmother took the name Sarah, thereby strengthening the connection of generations to Jewish tradition.

All those present, responding “amen” to the blessings, wished the young Asher that just as he has entered the Covenant of Avraham, so too may he go on to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.

The Dnipro Jewish Community and our website warmly congratulate Esther and Rinat Askhadullin on the bris milah of their son Asher and wish the little one health and happiness as he grows. May he bring much joy to his parents and proceed with dignity on the path to Torah, Chuppah, and good deeds.
