Children’s camp “Mikdash kids” – we participate in the construction of the Temple with good deeds, joy and laughter

The main theme of the day camp “Mikdash kids” for children aged 3-5, organized by the Jewish community of Dnepr, is the participation of children in the construction of the Temple and their opportunity to put their own brick in it.

“Every happy moment and good feeling in the heart is also a brick in the construction of Beit haMikdash, because joy and light should reign in the Temple, and we are learning to bring them to the world today, – says the director of the camp “Mikdash kids” Malka Muzykina, – for example, on Sunday our children’s camp had a truly magical day – a bright foam show! Soft multi-colored cubes flew in the air, and the children caught them with delight, threw them above their heads and built huge, beautiful towers. They were like real builders of Beit HaMikdash, who build their great creation with love and care, and each new “brick” was accompanied by laughter, joyful exclamations and applause from friends. The atmosphere was warm and inspiring – all the children felt like one team, united by a common cause.”

Of course, every day the camp hosts many fun games and shows – the children really enjoyed meeting the cheerful and kind clown and his performance filled the children’s hearts with joy. And after meeting the clown, the children took part in preparing a performance dedicated to the Temple service – they made toys with their own hands representing the Levites – important Temple servants who filled the Temple with hymns and music, and in such an exciting game form they learned a lot of important information about how the G-d services were held in the Temple, for it is said that everyone who teaches about the structure of the Temple participates in its construction.
