Civil Defense Day at the Jewish Lyceum

At Jewish Lyceum No. 144 named after Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, a series of important events were held dedicated to Civil Defense Day, as in today’s realities, the issue of children’s safety has become especially critical.

Students participated in discussions combined with practical exercises aimed at raising awareness of life safety issues, understanding the importance of preparedness for potential emergencies, and the need for knowledge and skills in this field.

Particular attention was paid to understanding what civil defense is and what types of emergencies can occur. Rules of behavior in different dangerous situations were discussed in detail — students learned about methods of emergency alerts, which are critically important for timely response, as well as topics related to fire safety and evacuation procedures at school in case of emergencies.

Students received clear instructions on how to act in such situations and were introduced to the basic principles and practical skills of providing first aid.

The administration of Lyceum No. 144 expresses its gratitude to everyone who contributed to organizing and conducting Civil Defense Day.
