Creative STEM Teaching Leader from the Jewish Lyceum Wins Regional Competition

Physics teacher Lyusya Begragyan, widely regarded as the “creative leader in STEM education” at the Dnipro Jewish Lyceum, has won the regional marathon “I Teach STEM Because…”, organized by the Dnipro Academy of Continuing Education.

The diploma, signed by the Academy’s Rector Viktor Sychenko, honors Lyusya Begragyan “for leadership and innovation, commitment to the values of the STEM community, and the courage to be among the first teachers of the MIC ‘STEM’ in Ukraine.”

The administration of Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144 – the flagship educational institution of the Jewish Community of Dnipro – along with the leadership of the Community, warmly congratulates Lyusya Begragyan on her well-deserved recognition and wishes her continued success in her important mission.

As a reminder, STEM education is an integrated approach to learning that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics into a unified interdisciplinary program. Instead of teaching these subjects separately, STEM education blends them to demonstrate how these disciplines interact in the real world to solve complex problems.
