Dnipro Jewish Community Undertakes Major Renovation of the Lyceum Cafeteria

The Dnipro Jewish Community continues its systematic work on the development of the infrastructure of its educational institutions. During the summer break, a renovation of the cafeteria of the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144 has begun, aimed at creating even more modern, safe, and comfortable conditions for the organization of school meals.

Carrying out the work during the summer period allows for the maximum possible scope of renovations without disrupting the educational process and ensures that the updated facilities are ready for the start of the new school year.

This renovation includes the modernization of electrical and plumbing systems, which are the foundation of the reliable operation of the food service unit, as well as a complete replacement of the ceramic tile. These efforts will improve safety, enhance sanitary and hygienic conditions, and create a more modern infrastructure that meets the high standards of this educational institution.

“Modern school infrastructure is not only a matter of comfort but also an important component of a quality educational process, the safety of the children, and the creation of conditions in which they enjoy learning and developing,” said Olena Krasnova, Director of the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum. “That is why the renovation of the school cafeteria is part of the ongoing work to develop our educational institution. We see a comprehensive, thoughtful, and responsible approach that is part of the constant support and attention from the united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community and personally from the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Shmuel Kaminezki, in the implementation of strategic directions for the lyceum’s development, the resolution of numerous daily issues, the creation of a modern educational environment, and the care for every aspect of our lives.”
