Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov congratulated the Jewish community on the holiday of Pesach.
The mayor’s congratulatory message states:
“The multinational city of Dnipro shares the joy of the esteemed Jewish community with the arrival of the great holiday of Pesach.
A holiday that reminds us all of the power of united goodness and its ability to withstand even the greatest misfortune.
That in defending freedom and justice, one must contend with vile machinations and yet remain unshaken.
And that it is equally important to preserve history and memory. For they, too, are capable of protecting us from harm.
May each of the festive days be filled with unity and quiet joy, peace and firm hope, comfort and pure faith.

May it be for the good.”
