The Central Synagogue of Dnipro “Golden Rose” announces the beginning of preparations for the holiday of Passover, during which, as is known, it is not only forbidden to use or possess any chametz, but even to have it on its territory and one must carefully and consciously get rid of any chametz.
Therefore, the “Golden Rose” Synagogue appeals to all parishioners with a request. First, remove personal belongings from the synagogue, both from the locker room and from the lockers, and inform the shamashes about this. If any questions arise, you should immediately contact the shamashes – they may have already removed your belongings. This must be done quickly, because the synagogue is preparing for Passover according to a certain schedule!
Secondly, in the synagogue you can arrange the sale of chametz that is your property anywhere, and this must be done properly using a special form. To do this, you need to contact Rabbi Reuven Milman, who arranges the sale of chametz in the synagogue every day (except Shabbat).
The deadline for sales in the synagogue is Thursday, April 10, 6:00 PM.
It is best to sell chametz in person at the synagogue, but if you are unable to physically come to the synagogue during this period, you can also sell chametz using the online service of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine
