Though summer is drawing to a close, the “Mitzvah Agent” preschool camp of the Jewish Community of Dnipro is currently in full swing. Like other summer programs of the community, it is held with the support of the Jewish Relief Network Ukraine charity organization, and each day is filled with new discoveries, exciting activities, joyful events, and happy children’s smiles.
Each day of the camp is built around a special program. The morning traditionally begins with games, prayer, reading pesukim, dancing, lively exercises, and creative tasks, after which a wide variety of activities await the children. At the same time, each day is dedicated to a specific theme based on the famous “Ten Mitzvos of the Rebbe.” The first day introduced the young participants to the idea of “Tzivos Hashem” and their important mission of good deeds; the second was dedicated to Torah and tefillin; the third to Shabbos candles; the fourth to a Jewish home filled with holy books; the fifth to the mezuzah; and the sixth to the mitzvos of tzedakah and Ahavas Yisrael. Each theme is complemented by special activities: quests and creative workshops, a neon bubble show, magic tricks, a silver show, baking cookies and challah, making keepsake crafts, fun games, and many other colorful events that help the little ones discover the world of Jewish traditions with excitement.
Each day passes in an atmosphere of warmth, care, and genuine attention to every child. The young camp participants are guided by counselors Dvosya Simcha Romanovskaya and Fanya Gaisinskaya, with the entire program coordinated by Adel Susorova, ensuring that every child feels like part of a large, friendly family, surrounded by love, attention, and joy.
