A large men’s farbrengen was held in the Jewish community of Dnipro to commemorate the 105th anniversary of the passing of the Fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Sholom DovBer Schneerson. The event was attended by numerous congregants of the central synagogue “Golden Rose,” esteemed rabbis, and students of the city’s yeshivas.
“The second day of the month of Nissan is an extremely significant date in the Jewish calendar,” noted Rabbi Reuven Kaminezki. “This year, farbrengens were held in many Jewish institutions across the city, and all who participated joined countless communities around the world in honoring the memory of the Fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Sholom DovBer Schneerson – a great leader of the Jewish people.”
