The farewell ceremony for the world-renowned Ukrainian photo artist and respected member of the Jewish Community of Dnipro, David Dubnytsky, who tragically passed away in a car accident, will take place on Friday, July 25, at the “Pcholkin House” (5 Uspenska Square, Menorah Center).
The farewell will begin at 12:00 PM, and the burial will follow at 1:30 PM at the Sursko-Lytovske Cemetery.
In a family statement announcing the time and place of the farewell, it was emphasized:
“David observed Jewish tradition, and the farewell will also be conducted according to those customs. We will be grateful if you honor his memory with your personal presence, without flowers or wreaths — this is the Jewish tradition.”
The Jewish Community of Dnipro deeply mourns the untimely departure from this world of David Dubnytsky, an exceptional individual, and extends heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones.
May his soul rise to Gan Eden, may the Almighty count him among the righteous, shelter him under the wings of the Shechinah, and may his memory be a blessing.
