On the occasion of the jubilee of Rebbetzin Shoshana Weber, head of the international program “Kolel Torah for Women,” also known as “Women’s Wisdom,” a grand women’s farbrengen was held in Dnipro. It brought together many students, colleagues, and friends of the celebrant, who for twenty-eight years has been bringing the light of Yiddishkeit to Jewish women as one of the most active emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe.
The celebration was attended by women who were once students of Rebbetzin Shoshana Weber at “Beit Chana” and have since become leaders in Jewish communities across the country. Companions in the Jewish women’s movement from Dnipro and other cities joined as well, along with guests from abroad — including Shoshana’s own sisters, who serve as Rebbe’s emissaries in the Holy Land.
The jubilee was marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere of a large Chassidic family. Numerous heartfelt congratulations and blessings were voiced for the beloved Rebbetzin Shoshana — including specially prepared video greetings from around the world. Everyone emphasized her kindness, warmth, hospitality, and ever-present readiness to help, support, and guide — qualities that have always defined Rebbetzin Shoshana Weber.
