On Erev Rosh Hashanah, it is important to perform “Hatarat Nedarim” – the annulment of vows. This helps one enter the new year and the Day of Judgment free from the responsibility of unfulfilled promises.
The ceremony will take place in every minyan after the morning prayer at the “Golden Rose” Synagogue.
To participate, come to the morning prayer and remain after the prayer for the ceremony. Each participant, in turn, approaches the assembled and recites a special text. The procedure takes a short amount of time but is an important part of preparation for Rosh Hashanah.
We invite all Jewish men to participate in Hatarat Nedarim.
