On the eve of Rosh Hashanah, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council Mykola Lukashuk greeted the Jewish community of the Dnipropetrovsk region and all residents of the region on the approaching Jewish New Year.
In his address, Mykola Lukashuk noted that the Jewish community is an integral part of the history and daily life of Dnipro, and also emphasized the significance of the Menorah Center as one of the largest Jewish centers in the world.
“Today at sunset, the new year 5787 begins for the Jewish community of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The Jewish community is part of the history and daily life of Dnipro. Here operates the Menorah, one of the largest Jewish centers in the world.
On Rosh Hashanah, we wish one another a good and sweet year. I wish every family health and harmony.
And to all of us – a just peace on Ukrainian soil.
