Important Victory for Nelli Proshchenko at All-Ukrainian Colloquium

Nelli Proshchenko, a 10th-grade student at the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, placed 2nd at the All-Ukrainian Educational Colloquium for School Students “Space. Humanity. Spirituality,” which took place in a remote format.

The lyceum student presented her research in the “Superbook” section, successfully demonstrating a high level of preparation, deep understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to creatively interpret complex spiritual and humanitarian issues within the context of the modern scientific and cultural landscape. Her prize-winning placement at the national level stands as evidence of her perseverance, intellectual maturity, and serious commitment to learning and academic development.

It is worth noting that Nelli Proshchenko is also a student of the “StartUm” Center for Children and Youth Development, a municipal extracurricular education institution of the Dnipro City Council, where she receives additional support in pursuing her educational and research interests.

A significant role in achieving this impressive result was played by computer science teacher Olha Borysenko, the project supervisor, whose professional guidance, attention to detail, and pedagogical support helped the student represent the Dnipro Jewish Lyceum with distinction at the national level.

“We are proud of Nelli Proshchenko’s success and delighted that her hard work and pursuit of knowledge received high recognition at the All-Ukrainian colloquium,” said Svitlana Romenska, Deputy Principal of the lyceum. “We express our sincere gratitude to computer science teacher Olha Borysenko for her professional preparation of the participant, and we thank the Dnipro Jewish Community and Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki for their ongoing support of educational initiatives. Thanks to this support, our lyceum students are able to develop their abilities and achieve meaningful results.”
