In the “Menorah Community” class, the topic of “The Coming of Moshiach” was discussed

The theme of the latest men’s class in the “Menorah Community” youth project of the Jewish community of Dnipro, which is actively developing thanks to the efforts of the Zislin family, was one of the most fundamental questions of Judaism – the meaning of the concept of Moshiach and the expectation of his coming.

The class was led by a representative of the Lubavitch Rebbe, one of the most well-known teachers in the Jewish community of Dnipro, Rabbi Akiva Romanovsky. In a dialogue with the participants of the “Menorah Community” program, he thoroughly discussed the question of who Moshiach is, what mission he carries out, why it is the Jewish people who await his coming, and how this idea influences the everyday life of a Jew.

“Rabbi Akiva explained that the expectation of Moshiach is not just hope for a bright future, but an active spiritual effort,” says Levi Zislin, the leader of the “Menorah Community” project. “This effort includes a whole range of aspects, including Ahavat Yisrael (love for one’s fellow), mutual respect, compassion, and the striving to make this world better right now, in the present moment, without postponing change for later.”

As always, the class within the “Menorah Community” project was deep in content, relevant in the modern context, and filled with spiritual weight, inspiring reflection and action.
