Incentive Trip for the Best Students of “Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva Ktana Ukraine”

At the prestigious international educational institution “Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva Ktana Ukraine,” where future rabbis and leaders of Jewish communities from many countries around the world study, a special incentive trip took place for students who demonstrated exceptional diligence and high results in the study of Chassidic texts leading up to Lag B’Omer.

As part of the preparation for the holiday, the yeshiva students received several sichos and maamarim for in-depth study. They studied them daily, analyzed them, and memorized passages. After completing the preparation, a special examination of the material took place, during which the students answered questions and recited the texts they had learned, demonstrating their deep understanding. Following this serious and intensive work, eighteen top students were identified and received a special reward – a joint outing to recreational centers outside the city.

The first part of the program took place at the large children’s entertainment center “Gusy Land,” located on the grounds of the “Zolotyy Plyazh” park-hotel in Orlivshchyna. The boys spent several hours there, filled with joy. They visited various game and sports complexes, went to the zoo, enjoyed active recreation, and gained many vivid impressions.

The second part of the trip was a visit to the “Kohavi Forest Club” base, where a special relaxation program was prepared for the participants in an atmosphere of Yiddishkeit. The students played soccer, spent time outdoors, participated in a kosher barbecue meal, and engaged in other group activities. This became an important part of the educational work that supports the drive to achieve significant success in learning and high results.

Such programs are an important part of the educational system of “Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva Ktana Ukraine,” where great attention is paid not only to the in-depth study of Torah and Chassidus but also to creating an environment where spiritual growth, friendship, shared recreation, and positive emotions naturally complement one another.

“For our students, such a trip serves as an important continuation of the entire system of learning and education built in the yeshiva,” says Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Eliyahu Heifer. “The boys invested great effort into the daily study of sichos and maamarim, prepared seriously, reviewed the material, and truly deserved this reward. It is very important that alongside intensive learning, they have the opportunity to spend time together, experience joy, unity, and the special atmosphere of true Chassidic camaraderie. We sincerely thank the Board of Directors of the Yeshiva under the leadership of the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro and the region, Shmuel Kaminezki, for their constant care for the students, as well as the entire united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community.”
