Summer is almost here. It smells of adventures, sunshine, and the loud laughter of children among friends. It was with this mood that the participants of the JBBBS program of the Dnipro Jewish Community went to Shevchenko Park, where active leisure, new experiences, and a true atmosphere of summer adventures awaited them.
One of the main activities was the rope park. The younger participants chose easier routes, while the older ones bravely tested themselves on more challenging levels, overcoming obstacles at height. The children supported each other, rejoiced at every success of their friends, and learned not to give up in the face of difficulties.
After that, the older participants tested their marksmanship at the shooting range, while the younger ones had fun in the maze, filling the space with laughter, movement, and sincere emotions. Throughout the day, a special atmosphere of warmth and friendship prevailed.
It was especially touching to watch how the older children helped the younger ones, supported those who were worried, offered advice, and simply were there for them. It is in such simple and sincere moments that the true feeling of a large, friendly family is born, where everyone can feel important and needed.
“It is very valuable for us to see how children not only spend time together but also learn support, care, and friendship. It is precisely such gatherings that create those warm childhood memories that stay with a person for a lifetime. We are sincerely grateful to the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Greater Boston, as well as to the Chief Rabbi of Dnipro, Shmuel Kaminezki, for their constant support of the program and the opportunity to create a space of joy, development, and true unity for children,” noted program coordinator Tetyana Kaplunskaya. “Many new meetings, bright events, and summer adventures await our participants ahead, so do not delay.
