The Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters program once again brought together children, volunteers, and mentors in a warm, family-like atmosphere. This time, the participants enjoyed an active and exciting day at a bowling club, filled with laughter, support, and heartfelt joy.
“There were many teams, and even more support! Our little ones were helped by volunteers, and every throw was full of excitement and smiles. There were no winners or losers—what mattered most was that everyone enjoyed the experience, learned to interact, and supported one another. Our gatherings are more than just fun—they’re a space where children can feel part of a big, loving family, receive care, inspiration, and grow together. We make it our mission to give each child lasting memories, a sense of safety and warmth, and the chance to discover the beauty of Jewish traditions, says Tetyana Kaplunskaya, director of the Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Dnipro. The Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters program is supported by the Jewish communities of Dnipro and Boston as part of the Kehilla Project. It pairs children in need of support with volunteer mentors, helping them grow in love, respect, and stability. To join the program or learn more, please call +380 68 480 30 52 (Natalia).”
