Jewish Lyceum Receives Gold Medal for Achievements in Inclusion

A great achievement of the entire teaching staff of the Levi Yitzchak Schneerson Jewish Lyceum No. 144, the leading educational institution of the Dnipro Jewish Community, was receiving the highest award – a gold medal at the 17th International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2026,” which brought together leading educational institutions, scientific establishments, and specialized organizations from Ukraine and other countries.

The lyceum was awarded this high honor based on the results of a ranking exhibition competition in the category “Inclusion in Action: Modern Approaches to Working with Children with Special Educational Needs.” This result reflects the institution’s systematic work aimed at implementing modern educational practices, developing an inclusive environment, and creating effective teaching methodologies.

Undoubtedly, this award is recognition of the cohesive work of the entire teaching staff, and particularly the authorial team of the presented project, where the primary author was Svitlana Romenska, Deputy Director for Educational Work, with co-authors Olena Krasnova, Director of the Lyceum, and Olha Borysenko, computer science teacher. Their work made it possible to present the institution’s experience at a high level within an international professional platform.

The 17th International Exhibition “Modern Educational Institutions – 2026” is a prestigious forum organized by the “Exhibition World” company with the support of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and the Institute for Modernization of Educational Content. This year, the team of Dnipro’s educational institutions demonstrated an impressive result, winning a total of thirty-nine medals, for which the participants expressed special gratitude to the municipal institution “Educational Trajectory” for their support and motivation.

“Achievements such as this are the result of consistent and systematic work by the entire teaching staff, aimed at developing modern educational approaches, including inclusive practices,” noted Olena Krasnova, Director of the Lyceum. “Participation in such initiatives not only confirms the high level of training and professionalism of our educators but also contributes to the development of the educational environment, opening new opportunities for students, and helps strengthen the international prestige of our united and cohesive Dnipro Jewish Community under the leadership of Chief Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki.”
