At the Dnipro Yeshiva named after Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the “Mitzvah-Mix” game was held, dedicated to the 28th of Nissan — the 34th anniversary of the day when the Lubavitcher Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson entrusted his chassidim with the responsibility of hastening the coming of the Righteous Moshiach.
The “Mitzvah-Mix” game was organized to best embody the Rebbe’s words, with the goal of building the “Tower of Geula” and purifying the world to hasten the revelation of the Righteous Moshiach. The assembly hall was divided into four play zones, and the yeshiva students were split into teams. In the first zone, cards with the names of the mivtzoyim campaigns announced by the Lubavitcher Rebbe over the years (ten in total) were scattered on the floor. One participant had to find three identical cards (for example, three “Chinuch” cards) within a limited time; if they picked different ones, they could exchange them in the next zone by completing a special task. After collecting three matching cards, the team had to symbolically perform the mitzvah shown on the cards to receive the materials needed to build the “Tower of Geula.”
“This vividly showed the children how our actions in fulfilling the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s directives bring the world closer to Geula — the complete and final Redemption,” said the yeshiva director, Rebbetzin Chana Segal. “At the end, we ‘activated’ the Tower of Geula by raising our hands and loudly proclaiming the demand for the immediate arrival of the Righteous Moshiach.”
The event was held with the support of the Jewish Community of Dnipro.
