New Video on the “Menorah” Channel: “Is It Easy to Keep Shabbat? Can You Live This Shabbat?”

A new episode dedicated to one of the most important topics in Jewish life – Shabbat observance – has been released on the “Menorah” channel.

Shabbat is not just a day off. It is the spiritual center of the entire week, a “sanctuary in time,” a special gift that the Almighty has granted to the Jewish people. In the new video, Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki explains what proper preparation and observance of this sacred day entail, and why preparation and systematic study of the laws of Shabbat are necessary to truly feel its greatness.

Rabbi Shmuel details what is permitted and what is strictly forbidden on Shabbat, how to properly greet this day, how to spend it in holiness and joy, and how to conclude it beautifully. Observing Shabbat is a path to spiritual elevation, and the enjoyment of Shabbat (“Oneg Shabbat”) becomes possible thanks to the clarity provided by the sages of the Talmud.

It is separately noted that the video is a reconstruction: the filming was conducted on a weekday and fully complies with the laws of Shabbat.

Watch the new episode on the “Menorah” channel and discover the depth of the laws of Shabbat together with Rabbi Shmuel Kaminezki and his guests.
